{E24} Postpartum Depression & Getting Back to You (with Stacy Rudman)
Depression is something that's, thankfully, gotten much attention in the past few years. Support and conversation is initiated and help is provided (and encouraged) for those suffering from it.
But what doesn't seem to get talked about too much is depression when it comes on with pregnancy.
Guest Stacy Rudman experienced postpartum depression after her second child which was puzzling and quiet the struggle since her first pregnancy was everything but.
In this episode, you'll hear:
• what the first thing was that made Stacy notice something was "off"
• her feelings toward her second child (same or different from her first)
• the difference between being your fittest and being your healthiest
• the backlash she got (from herself) for having medication prescribed and taking it
• protein pancakes!

1 c paleo flour
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1/4 c unsweetened apple sauce
1/4 c pumpkin (not pumpkin pie)
1tsp vanilla extract

Mix all ingredients together & cook like pancakes.
You can also add chopped fruit after you mix all the ingredients above. It’s really good with apples or blueberries
